Tara Labosky, AIA, LEED AP, CCCA is the Principal/Owner of Luzerne Consulting, LLC.
After graduating with degrees in architecture, she spent over 18 years in the architecture profession leading projects in multi-family housing, senior/assisted living, K-12 education, and faith-based and commercial facilities. A desire for a career move into construction led to a return to school to study construction management, followed by over 8 years managing land development projects for residential and commercial developments. Combining her multi-discipline experience, she launched Luzerne Consulting with the mission of representing project owners and guiding their projects from inception through completion. In addition to her company, she is an educator, teaching construction management courses in planning and scheduling, claims and changes, building information modeling, and blueprint reading, using a mix of theory and real life experience.
A strong supporter of the advancement of women in the built environment, she is an active member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), holding multiple chapter, regional, and national positions.
Her professional interests include project management, risk mitigation, project collaboration, and improved project outcomes.
